Death Plays a Game
Client: Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT)
Background
International Trade's "Invest in Canada" division desired a very atypical and catchy viral video to promote Canadian success in the gaming industry at the 2009 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
By marrying Ingmar Bergman symbolism with Monty Python irreverence we created a video that catches our target audience’s imagination and clearly delivers the message: no one (not even Death) can catch Canadian gaming talent!
Results
This video was distributed virally via BlackBerry and iPhone to all participants at the Game Developers Conference 2009 in San Francisco to draw attention to the Canadian Pavillion at the Conference.
